Entry Requirements
1) Requirements on Citizenship
Non-Chinese citizens who meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education's Document [2020] No. 12, which requires those who emigrated to other countries from the Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan applying to study in ZUST as international students, should meet the following additional requirements: the applicants must hold valid passport or other relevant internationally recognized documents for at least 4 years; meanwhile, in the latest 4 years (by each April 30th of the year of University registration), the applicants must have lived overseas for 2 years (Living overseas for 9 months can be converted to 1 year, which is subject to the exit-entry stamp on visa).
2) General Requirements
Age ≤35;
High school education
or above; Good health; No criminal record;
No history of drug use.
3) English language proficiency certificate required.
4) According to the requirements set by the higher higher authorities, starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, all international students applying for undergraduate programs are required to attend CSCA tests.

Editor Notes: This program helps students grasp core technologies of digital media and aquire artistic creativity in digital media technology.
The major aims at cultivating talents with excellent professional quality, who are able to systematically master the theoretical knowledge, practical skills and methods of digital media technology, and have the ability to design and develop digital media productions. Students are to learn basic theories and professional knowledge of graphics, images, audio and video, 2-dimension and 3-dimension media design, game programming, interactive multimedia system design as well as the methods of design and develop software in the field of digital media and network. These trainings help students grasp core technologies of digital media and aquire artistic creativity in digital media technology.

Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English shall be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English; If the original transcript is not in English or Chinese, a notarized translation version is also required.

If the original certificate is not in English or Chinese, a notarized translation version is also required. Fresh high school graduates shall be issued a pre-graduation certificate by their school, and the original high school graduation certificate must be submitted when students register.
